Please don't throw your old stuff away! Someone, somewhere may still find it useful. If you live in our group area (Ryedale District Council's area) please join up and offer it to our members. A much better option than sending it to landfill.

The moderators may contact you asking for your postcode/location to ensure you are in this group's area. Members from Scarborough, Bridlington, Driffield, York, Hull and other places outside our area are likely to be refused membership of/removed from the Ryedale group.

Items must be legal, appropriate for all age-groups, and given away for free.

These are a pair of armchairs in need of reupholstering. Excellent quality frame and stuffing. Bought, (I believe) in the Harrods Sale, quite a few (many) years ago, but the frames are solid, and the arms/stuffing all good. Just in need of recovering. One has a zipped cover, the other is the original fabric. Collection: YO62 Reason for passing on: we have 3 young children and no sofa, so it's just not ideal for us right now, and nowhere to store them until we need them. I'd rather they go to someone who can cover them, and make good use of them.

Hi I’m looking for storage for clothes. I’m currently living out of a tiny bedroom and all my stuff is piled against the wall. If anyone has any of those canvas hanging storage things or a thin shelving unit that would really improve our quality of life. If you’ve got nothing like that but have knowledge on ways we could expand our storage ourselves that would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
